Consultation services are provided to find solutions to users' problems in computing area under the following topics:

• Microsoft Windows Operating Systems
• AIX / Linux Operating Systems
• Internet Services and Applications
• The set up and installation of the licensed software packages provided by the CC

Office Hours: 09:00 - 12:30 & 13:30 - 17:00

The Computer Center aims to help the users of PC Rooms through student consultants and assistants. Users can ask for help from consultants and/or assistants who are available at PC Rooms located at Dormitories. Student assistants are also responsible for managing Dormitory PC Rooms in evening hours and at weekends .

Users in the Dorms and Housing can apply to the Dorms and Housing coordinators for their problems with the services provided by the Computer Center.

Dormitory Area Coordinator:

Duty covers to;

• give pc support (computer, printer, set up for the side parts, to take the necessary security precautions for the operating systems, to deal with the operating system and hardware problems) for the registered PCs in the units (Dormitory Administration - Dormitory Administration work offices, Office of Swimming Pools - Open and Closed work offices, Office of Sports - Sports work offices in the Dormitory Area) which are under Directorate of Health Culture & Sports in the dormitory area,
• detect, provide solution and inform the authorities on the problems which occur in the campus network backbone in the dormitory area.

Housing Area Coordinator:

Duty covers to;

• maintain the durability of the network services given in the Housing Area and the security of the computers connected to the campus network,
• provide solution, either on the phone or in the place to the problems which occurs in the responsibility areas.

Working Hours:

Weekdays: Monday-Friday, 09:00 - 17:00

Weekend: Saturday, 10:00 - 16:00
