METU Computer Center provides wired network services to all the academic and administrative units over the single mode fiber optic backbone with a 1 gbps speed. The departments/units which have the appropriate infrastructure can provide users  1 gbps speed dedicated connection to the desktop. The administration, coordination and maintenance of departmental networks are handled by departmental coordinators and METU CC network group provides consultancy upon request.
